It's not amazing...the second law of thermodynamics would forbid it.
Also...conservation of mass? Even more entropically unfavoured.
Finally, it's unoriginal; it was on TV.

OK, in simple English:

The second law of thermodynamics states (roughly) that matter won't organise itself from disorder in the form of free atoms into a tightly ordered system like a living organism.
Conservation of mass dictates that you would need gas particles the mass of a person, to create a person of that mass.
Entropically unfavoured just means not favoured by the second law as above.

Well I was going to tell a maths joke that began "Infinitely many mathematicians walk into a bar," but having reevaluated the joke in light of nliu1995's rigorous analysis, I have deemed it too scientifically inaccurate to be shared.
Fight me.

The second law of thermodynamics states (roughly) that matter won't organise itself from disorder in the form of free atoms into a tightly ordered system like a living organism.

Conservation of mass dictates that you would need gas particles the mass of a person, to create a person of that mass.

Actually the second law just states that it's very very very very unlikely for matter in high entropy to form a more ordered state, but technically not impossible. But yeah conservation of mass applies :-P haha loved the reactions to your comment.
