not sure if you can relate but im not self doubting myself when it comes to education anymore :)

I did not study in year 11. It feels amazing haha, I wished I started earlier :) But I feel I'm doing well for most of my subjects. But I should get tutoring very soon for the main three. English Chem and Methods.

I'm actually not too sure about my marks, but I know I lost two! I knew the answers to all of them, but my wording could've screwed up somewhere, lets hope it didn't!

The passing mark for our school is 45% so 9/20 in this SAC. Average depends on the school I guess? But it's going to be very high on this SAC, and I may end up on the bottom halfish as it stands now. :( Not even the strongest cohort I think.

My parents are willing to pay for my tutoring so that doesn't really affect me :) But I can understand where you're coming from. Just make real good use of your teachers :) (After and before school etc..)

right i see, well this is tafe and already theres been dropouts and people not coming all the time etc, then there are the few people who are dedicated as hell and i hope to be like that.

but yeah because its tafe im sure its probably a similar passing score to yours (45%)
are you serious man thats a great score! its only 2 marks less 100%

Ahh fair enough, use those dedicated people as your source of your motivation! The same way I use those who are getting better marks than me as motivation too :)

I think for most schools it's around that range, 45-50

The problem with marks is because the SAC was only out of 20 marks, 2 marks is more significant :) But I'd still be happy with my score :) I did work hard, and I know other people would struggle to get what I got so I should appreciate it right? :)

yeah, one of the girls i met recently got a 50 ( i forget for what exactly as the sac system is confusing) she was always the top achiever and in class when she sat next to me she was doing stuff weeks ahead of what we were up to, shes a great person so it always helps to have people like this in class.

its such a different environment in tafe, on a positive note the girl to guy ratio is like 0.000001 guys to 20 girls ;)

i see, you really want to get the best mark possible but theres always the next SAC ;)
im kind of stressing out now about this SAC, i missed the first week like you because i changed subjects and i forgot to study the characteristics of a company, ownership of LSO's (that one isnt a big deal) and i just need to bring myself up to date on point indicators.

im hoping 3 days is enough, the rest i just gotta keep memorising which should be easy

sorry if i keep going on, im on a strong caffeine buzz right now.

An organisation in the public sector is operated by the government, so like the ATO. A company in the private sector is operated by private individuals. So like heaps of companies haha

Now, if a company is a public company, that means they offer their shares to the public through share markets. Hope that clears that up..

When you see like PTY LTD in businesses, what that means is that it's a private business in the share market. Proprietary (PTY) Limited Liability (LTD). PTY means it's a private business, LTD denotes that it's a public company

Don't quote me on the last bit, but I'm sure it's right? :) Don't hate if I'm wrong :P It'll be in your book for sure.
