Does anyone else ever 'forget' about English?

Not actually 'forget' as we obviously have plenty of English classes throughout the week, but compared to my other subjects, I've done nowhere near as much work for English.
(If I were to compare the amount of work I've done for English this year compared to say, spesh maths, the ratio would be AT LEAST 1:10.)

If I'm doing work during spare periods at school, I almost never do English.
It's always one of my other 4 subjects.

Over these holidays, I was concentrating in both my maths and sciences, and I didn't touch my English books until earlier today.

English never seems like a priority for me, though I'll be interested in receiving my first SAC mark back when I return though.

And the weirdest thing is that I KNOW I have to do well on English, as it's the mark that has to be taken in as a whole.
(So even if I get say, 40,41,42,43 on my other subjects and 30 on English, that entire 30 will count while the 40 will count as 4.0 >_>)

Does this happen to anyone else?

EDIT: I was on 4chan before that's why I thought that Specialist guy was trolling (90% of the responses on that website are just basement dwellers' pathetic attempts to put you down over the internet lmao).

I apologize for thumbing down his comment though. o_o

Yeah I know what u mean. Like I know I English is my most important subject but I'm giving the least attention but I'm still in yr11 hopefully by yr 12 my subject attention ratios will balance out.
I mean when try to write an essay i usually procrastinate or go YouTube instead of researching lol. And the essay gets done much less efficiently.

Aw man, English,

I don't have anything against it as a subject, but I find it so much harder to study for than any of my other subjects. I've done a fair bit of work on it this holidays, but when I'm doing English I procrastinate so much more than usual D:
I don't forget about it, it's kind of the subject I'm most stressed about actually. I have to work REALLY HARD to get good marks, in comparison to having to work kinda-hard to get them in my other subjects.

To be honest, when I was in year 12, English was the least of my priorities because I felt that it was easily the least interesting subject I was doing. I severely neglected it throughout the year.

Whatever you do, don't do that.

No. I'm only doing 1 VCE subject and I know that this will directly affect the university I get into, so I never forget English.
