Yeah I am - taking this subject next semester

Oh haha oh my god I thought you had the exam tomorrow and was wondering how to approach it! My brain has officially gone whack.

I guess advice is to start preparing early! There is so much content in this subject and if you start learning the fundamental stuff earlier it becomes so much easier towards the end because there is quite a bit of overlap.

I think with the ADSLS it's best to add them to your existing lecture notes for the subject, and again learning the diagrams earlier on in the sem helps immensely. I also think it's important to do a bit of research on some stuff they tell you in lecture notes, because it's really just pictures! That aspect makes it a bit difficult because you don't know how much detail you have to go through exactly.

ADSLS ??

Well there's no tutorials for this subject so basically they have online "adls" which accompany the online tests during the semester. The adsls have a bunch of supplementary material for the lectures incl. diagrams, and questions you can answer. They're like worksheets you can print out to accompany your studies

How did everybody go? Mcq was pretty easy but some of the section b and c questions left me depressed. Funny thing is that even if I had really studied for anatomy this week, I still probably would not have known the answers to those questions lol

I thought the MCQ was great. The other letter answer Qs were good top, but the section on somites was a little harder. I thought the short answer was great except I had no idea how to answer the 2 mark question on the inguinal canal formation. Oh well, it is only 2 marks out of 120.

Hope you guys found it good!!

I thought the embryology stuff was a bit easier than what I thought. But freakin' inguinal canal stuffed me right up. Surprised there was no heart stuff, lower respiratory, upper respiratory, lower limb stuff though! I forgot some stuff about lymph too

Some sections were Ok but I think that lymph section messed me up >_< MCQ weren't bad. Fill the blanks was OK. Some short answers were OK too. Quite difficult compared to my other exams though >_<
