was anybody's target audience senior citizens/elderly people? I felt that the author tried to engage with old people by repeatedly use the word "slow" such as in the heading and somewhere in the article "slow methods". The fact that he/she presented the old image beside the explanation of "Dig Your Victory" appeals to history in which the elderly readers could familiarise on a nostalgic level....

Would it have been a significantly bad move to state "In the opinion piece..." rather than "the newsletter..." in the introduction, provided tone, audience, contention, issue etc. was included?
Not in the slightest :)

This sounds pretty well justified :)

Thanks. I got 65% on my language analysis sac. I got 8/10 for the prac exam. I have always thought I was pretty crap at English, but I'm going to prove the teachers wrong :)

I said he was aiming at household families, as he appeals to the parents of the household by talking about the "first harvest", and to their desire to give what's best for their children by talking about the benefits it provides for children.

I said the piece was aimed to the older generation for two reasons:

1. The older generation will be more likely to want a garden rather than a skate park or a parking lot.
2. The piece just made it feel that way.

Not really. I analysed different things to what has been discussed on here, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Don't stress, because whatever you analysed is personal to you. :)

I define my 3.5 pages, for example as 3.5 pages of writing, not the front/back; I'd say that's 2 pages haha..

Yes front and back I did 2.5 pages 3.5 pages and 3.5 pages. I remember counting like 7 (14) pages or something. Who the hell can write that much anyway?
