This damn javelin question...

I read it as they threw it from the same spot (obviously), but I thought you simply had to find the distance of attempt #2 (which was just the cosine rule). Is that all there was to it?

I don't recall them asking to find the distance between the two attempts, but it could have easily been skimmed across. As it was out of 2, I'm guessing it did want the difference (in metres) between the two attempts as this makes for 2 steps (1 mark for each step).

Found that one the hardest, this is what i did though: so there are 24 boys 24 girls and i think it was 6 and 4 for how many can fit in each cabin (the 'a' and 'b' values from the question on the previous page) so i went 24/6 and 24/4 and that gave 6 and 4 cabins needed (so 10) but their weren't any whole numbers in the feasible region that added up to 10 so i chose (3,9) and (2,8) put those into the objective function and got somewhere around high $300 dollars.

Probably completely wrong, but just what i did

That's close but if you had x=3, it would mean that if there were 6 people max in a powered campsite then you would be able to accommodate 6*3 = 18 of one gender which is less than 24. x had to be greater than or equal to 4 because 4*6=24, so the point would've been (4,y) but I can't remember the y-coordinate :/ the answer was $480.

I don't do further, it's what my friend just told me lol

I don't think he was serious though and idk what modules our school does

Oh okay. Sorry. =/

Usually, if it is in Radian Mode, people should know when an answer doesn't look right. Hopefully if it's true, he noticed this. :)

How about 38/40 and 55/60 sac marks at 88% ranked 7 out of 60 in an average cohort?

:)

Stupid exam tbh- the modules i did anyway...
There were questions in there that Ive never seen come up on an exam before and hence I did not have the formulas in my reference book or the knowledge on how to do them

Hey does anyone remember what they got for the first question of core?
Was it 31, and then 65 percent (because 99/153)
