How hard were the Networks and Geo&Trig Modules?

In my opinion, they weren't that hard. There were a few tricks to notice, however not the hardest.

Dat last Graphs question...  :-\

Found that one the hardest, this is what i did though: so there are 24 boys 24 girls and i think it was 6 and 4 for how many can fit in each cabin (the 'a' and 'b' values from the question on the previous page) so i went 24/6 and 24/4 and that gave 6 and 4 cabins needed (so 10) but their weren't any whole numbers in the feasible region that added up to 10 so i chose (3,9) and (2,8) put those into the objective function and got somewhere around high $300 dollars.

Probably completely wrong, but just what i did

Guess we'll have to wait and find out what the question was exactly refferring too. I simply thought the distance between the 2 javelin throws.

I might be wrong but from what I remember, I did the first part and then realised it was worth 2 marks, reread the question and realised there was a second part, but I could be wrong. :)

I got 9 point something as well. The second javelin landed 135 degrees from the first javelin, but travelled seventy-something metres from the origin.

Way easier than multi choice for core buis maths networks and geotrig
2012 Literature - 37 raw (A+ on the exam)
2013 Aims- Further (35)  Studio Art (45+) English (45+) Japanese SL (30) Psychology (40)

i found business to be pretty easy overall, geo/trig was about average and linear was harder than average.
Core was easy.

I thought the second javelin throw was 100(or so cant remmeber) degrees from the origin, not from where the second javelin landed. This logically makes sense because you would throw a javeline from the same spot in a competition.

The javelins were definitely thrown from the same spot. I remember reading that.

Couple of things I'm unsure about -

Number patterns, last part of last question. How do you get the method mark? I drew up a table up until 2016 of Ln and In then the product of the two.

Matrices, the "when will the adult population die off" question. After 13 years, it was 0.7 which I assumed would be predicted to be 1. Therefore, I answered 14. What are the chances they'd accept this?

From memory, the question for matrices said something like "when it is less than one" in brackets.

why is everyone making a big fuss about the javelins? weren't they just thrown from the same spot but on different bearing and you had to find the distance between them? correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that all there was to it?

They were thrown from the same spot, however the bearing of 125 given was from where the second javelin landed.
