Don't think I mentioned this before but I actually was sooooo certain they wouldn't put Dementia on the exam because obviously everyone would be like "OMG NEW NHPA ITS OBVS GONNA BE ON THE EXAM", so they wouldn't want to satisfy everyone and used reverse psychology haha :P

What'd you guys write for the question regarding why did that Isabel thing support the malaria program

I said Malaria contributes largely to mortality rates in developing countries
and
Sufferers of malaria are often unable to work, thus not earning an income and making the poverty cycle near impossible to break

The the broad Reduce Child Mortality question, explain its importance? I just stressed that innocent children were dying of infectious preventable conditions (a few examples) which further creates a health disparity between the developed and developing world... I'm not exactly sure just how specific you had to be? I'm so angry that 10 of the trial papers I did I had 30mins to go, this one like 0secs  >:(

With the importance question I said

This goal is important as children are the future of countries and it is their role to promote stability and prosperity for the future generation and ensure development. 1 mark you think? That question caught me off

Yeah same here, I think they would give it time to be properly published through the text books before it becomes examinable. As most text books that students are using this year would not have had Dementia listed as an NHPA.

I thought that malaria importance question was another way of saying: why are malaria programs important. Like, similar to the MDGs purpose/reason for existing/their respective importance.

Was it worth 2 marks all together or 4?

Guys I only doubled with Arts because I couldn't let go of Psych and wanted to keep doing it as a major at least, but I took International Studies on a whim after the info session just because I needed a minor, and I love it so much! It's 3:29am and I had to share this, I think I'm majoring in it bye.

I said health promotion funding ie. towards VicHealth to encourage people to QUIT smoking as it acts as an asthma risk factor.. that was the best I could do under the pressure haha

The one about why it was implemented was 2. Then there was another question which I can't remember then the one about the AusAID objective.

For the objective question, did you guys use the 'assist countries in Australia's region achieve the MDGs', then speak about MDG 6?

Wasn't the question just asking two responsibilities of each level of government? :/
I said the delivery of health services such as public hospitals.

Did I not read the question properly? Did it have to be specific to Asthma?
