You mean me right? Since you quoted my post
I don't wanna mention cos it will be so obvious to stalkers (people from my school cos I know they use this site) who I am!
(probably the only person in the state who does this combination of subjects)
appleandbee you're Asian right? I think you mentioned it somewhere.
But even if you aren't, I feel you with my parents.
They are like "surely you must get at least 35 in your subjects, otherwise that is just to unacceptable??" (sorry idk what the word is in English lol) but they aren't expecting high 40's which is good.
I think especially with my dad, even if I were to get an above-40 score for methods (which I won't), he still would never be satisfied and keeps going on blah blah.
I wish I could be bored like you and start studying
sigh
Fair enough I understand, we are all semi/really careful about the information we share online. As long as you are doing subjects you enjoy/interested in and hopefully makes you kind of motivated to study for it

that's good.
Spot on, I'm asian haha

. I feel you with my parents, even though they don't 'expect' 50 or high forties (they would like but they don't expect), they don't think it could me much worse than a 40 lol. I would be over the moon with a 42 (expecting lower), because it's probably my sixth subject.
A few misconceptions by my parents about VCE: (not exaggerating here)
-To get a 99.95 you need six RAW 50s. (they legits thought that)
-To get a 50 study score, you need 100% in the exam and similar grades in school assessments.
-You can't get a really good ATAR if you didn't do well in ALL your subjects
-They also didn't know scaling existed lol
Haha, I would mind either, but Monash seems more professional in a sense... I dont know lol
I don't even know which uni I want to go to yet
