Hahah deep cut. He will use this as inspiration to take rank 1 out of nowhere

As for the question itself, I've only had one SAC (for chemistry) and it's is probably my worst subject, so I'm not expecting to be rank 1 any time soon. I'm hoping I'm able to grab it for English (not an amazing cohort) or German (only 6 people), but I won't be too devastated if I can't.

Anyone ranked 1 for any subjects yet?

How do you guys know? I got 19-20 marks for the oral but the teachers wouldn't tell us our exact mark, just the range so that we wouldn't 'rank ourselves'

Not true! You can do Specialist Maths by Distance Ed and get 99.90 for CSP. It'll be difficult but if you're determined to get CSP, then you'll do it :)

Without having done 1/2? whoa..

My school doesn't have spesh 1/2, and I'm going ok so far... it's not ESSENTIAL, so if you're determined you will be fine!

How are you guys coping so far?

I literally disabled half of the social networking sites I use on my phone :( and believe or not, I typed the passcode twice with my eyes closed so unless I reset my phone, the torment will remain.

An interesting point was brought up by someone I know - blocking or deactivating these sites won't always work - you can always find other ways to procrastinate. A workaround however might be to delete the messenger app on your phone, so you're not constantly getting messages!
Unfortunately, I'm stuck in the phase of not being able to commit to one state of mind fully. I'll do work, but I'll have something else on in the background. But when I'm resting, I will always feel guilty that I didn't concentrate fully on my work!

Actually never thought of that. :P

But yeah I hate that guilt phase - even if I've dedicated my whole day to my books, I still get that feeling no matter what. I don't use Facebook so I don't really get messages or anything like that, but being a big fan of vloggers and documentaries (including the "weird side of youtube"), I spend most of my time on that :P

Guess I need a bit more discipline to focus  8)

Without having done 1/2? whoa..

Unit 1 Spesh is irrelevant; I didn't do Unit 1, then I failed Unit 2 (C and E for exams 1 and 2) but learned the shit in my own time and got around A+ for my first test this year. It's definitely possible :)
