Yeah I get that feeling with everything I do, but I do know I tried my best at the time when the pressure was on me. I think it hurts more when you realise the errors you made and how preventable they were ( :( revs), but all in all I think there's no point hurting myself with the past. Done is done. Enjoy the present. Taking a full year 12 round of subjects in year 11 is an amazing achievement C.A.T!! Celebrate it! Be proud of yourself :) :)

Thank you for your really nice words :)

Biomedicine @ Melb Uni as well. If I can get the ATAR, at least. Kinda super tough.

In terms of a meet-up, I'd love to participate if there's some forewarning. Unfortunately I can't really help organise it because I don't live near Melbourne so travel is a spanner in the works. Should we do it before or after results come out?

Yay! I've finally finished my exams (all 9 of them.... :o)! ;D
Anyone else did Spanish (or any other LOTE) today?
Congratulations to everyone who has finished already, and just a few days left to all those who still have exams left! You can do it! :D

Before results to avoid the awkward situations when people discuss their results. I will be overseas though  :-\

Re: meetup, AN usually has a meetup before exams every year (just to avoid that "so what was your ATAR?" conversation we all hate but still secretly want to have). Occasionally there's a second meet after results for people who miss the first one and for people who love meets. Typically they're held in a public location in the city, Flagstaff Gardens has been a favourite in recent years, with everyone buying/cooking a small something to share for a non-alcoholic lunch (we even had a BBQ one year!). Someone also ends up bringing a tennis ball for some intense 4-square or a soccer ball or something to keep things interesting.

In terms of people who turn up, it's mostly people from the graduating class, but usually a few younguns and older AN-ers rock up to give it a bit of diversity. Usually about 30 people or so rock up depending on the weather (even a good 15 people rocked up to MC on a really rainy day!).

Most people, after an initial period of awkwardness, find it really interesting to put faces to names of people not only in their graduating class, but other people on the forum (usually some mods/admins rock up). Good to make a few new friends and make get some advice from the inevitable few uni students who rock up!

If you guys would be keen on that idea and if someone would like to stand up and take charge, might be best to make a new thread about it and maybe even contact Brenden as he's organised a couple of really good meet-ups in the recent past :)

Few old threads to give you an idea:

VN MEET UP 2009 DETAILS!
2012 AN Meet Up - Be there or be Permabanned!

even We should have a Integration Bee in the next VN meet up.

No idea tbh :P
Firstly, I don't know what I can get into. Secondly, my parents and I have some conflicts about my choices... :-\
Oh yeah most likely I won't be going to uni next year.

Just wait till ATAR day I guess.

Anyway, now that exams are pretty much over, what is everyone gonna spend their time doing???

I'm actually not sure what to do next year, I never even remotely imagined myself being in this position before. I want to do Astrophysics, Medicine and a little bit of Engineering all at the same time lol

Been playing GTA 5 since I got it last Saturday (2 years in the waiting) but I'm now bored of it. I've tried out some MMO's (LoL) but haven't really got sucked into them yet

Is there much of a difference between Biomed and Science, other than the cutoff marks? Like according to my careers person they're basically the same thing, just that Science offers more flexibility; like what are the advantages that compel people to choose biomed over science?
