I registered yesterday for SMS. I don't want to be relying on the website because oodles of people will try and access it.

I haven't heard of any friends getting angry because the website crashed. Its a separate website just for Results, so they will be able to handle it.

Why would you do an all-nighter? They get published on the website at 7 am on December 16. Just wake up early.

Yeah, your school would have those details. However, your VTAC Number is just your VCAA Number. You know those Place Cards you get at Exams, its the number on there.

Staying up on skype or gaming with friends.

Don't think I'll sleep properly.... I'll be anxious. I'll probably be much less anxious with the peace and mind knowing that I aced the exams... But I literally walked out the exams not knowing if I did good or bad.... NO IDEA WHAT TO EXPECT

I much prefer to be in control, rather than waiting for a message to be sent to me, so I'll be looking up my results online. Last year, I kept spamming the refresh button and I got access to my results at 6:51am (don't ask me how I remember ) and the website didn't crash. What I did though was get my results via text the next day as a memento.

Get your results through SMS..otherwise you might mix up one of your ss with your atar...that might give you a heart attack for 5 seconds...that's what happened to me last year

I can't remember...but the first thing I saw was my ss for spesh...I thought that was my atar..that was the hardest feeling of my life..

If you haven't registered on VTAC, then your Pin is just your Day and Month of birth

e.g. If your birthday is July 9, then you would have 0907 as the pin. However, if you have registered on VTAC (and put in your preferences), then use that Pin that you normally log onto VTAC with.

When you log in, there will be 2 pages. One link to view your ATAR, and the other link to view your Study Scores.

Your scaled study scores get shown on the "view ATAR" link. At first I thought they were raw, and because spec scales a crapload I thought VCAA had screwed up (i.e ATAR was higher than expecting, and wouldn't have got that high a spec score). I'd actually picked up the phone and started dialing before I realised

From memory, I think it comes up on the results sheet in the mail. Gives the Raw and Scaled Scores.
