From the top of my head;

USA don't have a system such as 'medicare' and therefore people with such illnesses will prefer to bare with their illness rather than purchasing medication which is 10x more expensive than Australia, thus possibly leading to diseases being spread.

When it comes to comparing health status of Australia with developed countries, you will get data-analysis Qs where you need to analyse/interpret a table/graph/chart which presents you with health status indicators (e.g. life expectancy, HALE, mortality rate, U5MR) for a number of developed countries along with Australia. Using that data, you need to answer the Q accordingly and include the numerical figures from the data in your answer :) E.g. if you pretend that you were given a table of data and you've gone through all the health status statistics within that table for Aus and the other developed countries. Now you're asked to "compare the health status of Australia with one other country listed in the table" (2 marks). You could mention that:  "Australian females have a relatively high life expectancy of 84 years, whereas females from Japan surpass this and can expect to live up to 86 years. However, Australian males and those of Japan fare similarly in terms of life expectancy, and both can expect to live up to 79 years." - so for these Qs, you'll be given a table of health statistics (which is super easy to interpret - use a ruler to align things so you don't confuse one country's row of statistics with another's!) and using that data in your answer (e.g. in this case i mentioned years of life expectancy) you can answer the Q based on that :)

So i can answer the question by saying for e.g australia and japan have similar life expectancy as you mentioned and i could just say the life expectancy for males and females are very similar and get marks?

For SACs and exams , you wouldn't have to know the reasons WHY this is the case. They would give you a graph and you would have to compare or state the difference between health status indicators between countries :)

I know the op answering by question above but what should we look or words should we use when answering these types of questions?  when analysing the data and trends etc

Asking because my book had it as two questions. But that's great to know. :)

Over 80 chapter questions, made cue cards, and a booklet on data analysis' and other questions and a few StudyOn see more and do more activities.

I'll probably just read ahead. How about you?
