pretty cut right now
Got above the clearly in for the course I wanted, which is the important thing.
Got well below what I was expecting for lit, which is something I really wanted to tutor next year, do honestly feel like crying right now.
But yeah. I suppose I can't complain.

Same here. Like, I did really well on the one subject I had, but I'm not very happy because I was so bloody close to doing even better.

Whoever is doing VCE next year, I recommend not taking: VET IT, IT Apps and Food

VET IT 40 scaled to 33
IT Apps 40 scaled to 36
Food 41 scaled to 35

I'm absolutely shit stunned at how bad I did, I could have gotten the same score if I didn't even try: 58.10 atar :(

I know how you're feeling. I put so much effort into this year, more so than anyone else in my cohort, and ended up with an atar that may not even be high enough to get into the course I want :(

I spent the better half of my exam prep remembering my VCE number, Did you not take any of the cards home?

There are always other pathways like transferring and other methods! It's far from a grim situation at all!

Hey does anyone have any commentary on this?? I put in my study scores in atar calc and with the same aggregate I got 99.30ish, but my actual ATAR is 99.10, does that mean there were HEAPS of smart cookies this year?

Means that more high study scores were spread around a smaller group of people. So I guess that does mean there were a group of very high achievers moreso than last year.

Actually, it's because to get a 99.95 this year, you needed 211.3 aggregate. That means that you needed to do a subject that scaled above 50. So more people got over 210 than previous years.
