I need some advice please! I got 43 for further maths, with
GA 1: A+ (100% sacs) rank 1
GA 2: A+ (40/40)
GA 3: A+

the next highest score in my cohort was 2 42's and then a 41 and then a 40.
I heard that the student who got a 42 lost 4 marks on exam 1 and left out a couple of questions on exam 2. I'm just confused right now because I got an A+ for exam 2 and thought I only lost 5 marks. Could I be wrong and might of lost more marks? but how is it possible to lose more than say 7 marks and still get an A+? my other concern is that my teacher did not actually put me rank 1 despite my sacs which were higher than everyone. Any advice/thoughts ?

I'm overall really happy with my ATAR- maths saved me but literature was really disappointing.
Anyone here looking at studying medicine? That is my first preference and I'm not sure if my score will make me competitive enough...

Any year 11's wanting tutoring... I'm here :)
99.75 + Australian Student Prize.
Tutoring in Maths Methods (50 + Premier's) & other stuff. PM if interested :)

I got lower than the minimum prerequisites for English.  :)
and most degrees requires a minimum of 25. Are there any ways I could do to still get in to my degree??

If you are eligible for SEAS, they will effectively boost your ATAR, but only if the course that you are applying for recognises the SEAS disadvantage. It won't actually change your ATAR or study scores, but the universities will give you a better chance of getting in. They might pretend that your 80 was a 90, even though your certificate still says 80, for example.

If UoM recognises the SEAS you have applied for, then you are set to get Access Melbourne. For example, if you went to an underrepresented school that is on the list of schools they published, then you will automatically be eligible for Access Melbourne and will only require a 78 for Arts/Science/Environments, 88 for Commerce and 95 for Biomedicine, guaranteed entry.

Most people get the offer they want in their first round, but sometimes, if you came very close but didn't quite make the cutoff, they will give you an offer for the second round. Don't count on it though: if you're happy with your second preference and they gave you an offer for the first round, then you should accept it.

You will only receive one offer per round. So if you messed your preferences up, you have until the 24th of December to change them. Otherwise, they start from your first preference and work their way down. If you decide that you want to do your second preference, but you were eligible for your first preference, then you will miss out. That's why it's important to get your preferences right: choose what you want to do first, not what you think you will/won't get into.

Regarding the SEAS at Melbourne aka ACCESS MELBOURNE: I got 77.9 and come from an under represented school, the clearly in for my school is 78 for an arts course at Melbourne
I was wondering if I could still get in even with the .1 difference????????????????????????????

Hey guys, congratz on your results (all of you). We all achieved our best!!
Also everyone, I would like to know, I got an Atar of 76.6. I applied for 4 courses, an atar of 86.95,82.65,82.05 and a guarantee one of 70 Respectively on my course selection. I was wondering, would I have any chance to get in any of the top 3 that I listed.

Thank you all!!!!!!!
