oh ok so cellular respiration occurs just to break down the bonds of glucose into what? Monosaccarides?

Cellular respiration occurs so an organism can produce energy. Glucose is broken down into a smaller molecule known as pyruvate.

It's all good, apart from where you've got 2 CO2 as an output of glycolysis

The equation tells you. It's eventually broken down into carbon dioxide and water :)

What are the limiting factors of aerobic cellular respiration? :) Thanks in advance !
Pls do not send me a pm about Aspire applications. The process has vastly changed since I applied.

Everything on the left hand side of the equation for a start.

You could include temperature (enzymes) and my teacher said ATP levels (feedback inhibition)

You could also include the type of wavelengths, so higher rate of absorption of violet/blue and red wavelengths and low to no absorption if it's green wavelengths :D

Wait isn't that for photosynthesis??

opps my bad, I'm currently studying photosynthesis stuff and thought the question said 'photosynthesis'

Thanks for the pick up, I'll edit it now haha

1. A slight rise in heart rate (pulse) may occur just prior to the start of the period of exercise?  Try to explain why this may be the case.
Is this because the adrenal glands are anticipating exercise, and are releasing adrenaline increasing the heart rate?

2. Suggest some reasons for the differences in the values of volume of blood pumped during rest and after exercise.
I can only think that during exercise vasodilation occurs, increasing the size of the blood vessels allowing blood to pump through at a greater rate

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
