Is this correct? I have a few sources saying it's anaphase I?

e.g.
http://www.biology-online.org/dictionary/Independent_assortment
http://www.answers.com/Q/When_does_independent_assortment_occur_in_meiosis
https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081216124106AAOaGfL

In truth, it doesn't matter. Anaphase does do the assorting to other ends, but which way they go is actually chosen in prometaphase

Good luck Biologists! :)
I remember doing the Biology exam this time last year. Hopefully your exam will net you a fair reflection of your hard work and dedication!

Did anyone else resort to chemistry when drawing the amino acid monomer?  :o
And that experimental design question confused me so much  :'(

I personally reckon that that was the hardest VCAA exam thus far for bio  :-\

They made you draw an amino acid? Well that's a bit rough...

If I didn't do chem then I would not have known how to draw one :\ I don't even know if the question wanted the structural formula ahaha in my textbook, they're drawn as a square with a circle on top...
