Assuming I get my waiver for maths (which I'm kinda worried about, seriously rusty  :-\)
Semester 1
BIOL10004 Biology of Cells and Organisms
CHEM10007 - Fundamentals of Chemistry
MAST10006 Calculus 2
GERM10006 German 5

BIOL10005 - Genetics & The Evolution of Life
ENGR10003 - Engineering Systems Design 2
MAST10007 - Linear Algebra
GERM 10007 German 6

I'm assuming/hoping that this will allow me to go for the Bioengineering Systems major, at least the subjects required in the second year.
On a side note, not quite sure about the whole placement thing, it said I'm going to enter at German entry point 5, but I've only studied the language for 6 months (admittedly intensively), and I screwed up the whole reading section by writing down dotpoints (in the process ruining the back of my TFN sheet  :o) rather than reading it as quick as possible.

Either bioengineering systems, chemical systems or pharmacology.
BIOL10004 Biology of Cells and Organisms is a required subject so i think i'll take that one and a breadth.

Semester 1
Molecular Aspects of Cell Biology
Concepts in Cell and Developmental Biology
Animal Behaviour
Music Theatre: Singing Rock Musicals

Semester 2
Cell Signalling and Neurochemistry
Developmental Biology (assuming I get into it, otherwise it'll be Developmental Neurobiology)
Protein Structure and Function
Choir 2 (or the second theatre subject... any bludgy music subject will do)

Oh man, I've been waiting for third year, so many good subjects to choose from!
2011: VCE
2012-2014: BSc (Cell and Developmental Biology) - Animal Cell Biology specialisation
2015-2016: Masters in Laboratory Medicine

Yep, with an Animal Cell Biology specialisation. Well done on picking it, so many people at uni I've talked to have never heard of the C&DB major, it must be one of the less popular ones. Also, good choice with CEDB20003, it was one of my favourite subjects in second year, hence my major :)

So why didn't you choose them? haha only kidding!

You sound like a lot of my friends haha, they think I'm crazy for voluntarily picking Protein S&F.

It sounds like it's fooling everyone. Protein structure in highschool, easy as pie... uni woah

What do they say is wrong with Protein S&F? D: I had that down as a strong contender for a third-year elective, but if there are issues with it I might choose something else instead (since there are so many things to choose from D; ).

Oh no, that was coming from zoology/ecology majors, who freak out at the thought of anything biochem related and think I'm weird for finding it interesting, haha. On the other hand, I'm fond of the biochem department, the two second year subjects (Biochem & Mol Bio and Biochemical Regulation of Cell Function) were really well organised, so I have high hopes for Protein S&F. I haven't actually heard any feedback from the subject itself - if anyone reading this has done it, I would appreciate a review! :)

What do you guys think of this? I'm doing a bachelor of arts, and I know I definitely want to do a psych major, but I'm still tossing up between whether I want to do another major, or 2 minors, in philosophy, creative writing or criminology. So for now, does it seem like a good idea to do these subjects?

Spoiler
Semester 1:
- Language (Arts foundation subject)
- Mind, Body, Behaviour 1 (Psych)
- Creative Writing: Ideas and Practice
- From Graffiti to Terrorism (Criminology)

Semester 2:
- Mind, Body, Behaviour 2 (Psych)
- Philosophy: The Big Questions
- Breadth: ?
- Breadth: ?

All these subjects satisfy the requirements for level 1, to achieve either a major, or minor, in those 4 subjects...
Sorry if this is too long.. Also, any suggestions for breadth?

Hopefully someone knows about this, since I've only really seen BSc and biomed people on here.

I liked Short Fiction much more than Ideas and Practice (in general), consider doing that in sem2 over a breadth
