Just popping in here~
Feeling like it's an appropriate time to link you guys to a 'sad' moment from my own Year 11 days~
Re: To all the students that were disappointed with their scores (esp Yr 11s)It happened after I rode a pretty substandard Year 11 and I just freaked out with the impending pressure of exams, resulting in a study score that I was pretty ashamed of.
Without speaking too early, (still haven't sat 60% of my exams yet), it's still quite safe to say that last year's failure was a really big wake up call in terms of what I needed to do and how much effort I needed to spend to get it right. It came immediately, and died down, quite periodic (through about midway term 1 my motivation died), but the work I did over the holidays probably made most, if not all, the difference this year.
For a comparison basis, i went from:
English: B/B+ --> A+
GMA/Spesh 1/2: A --> A+
Methods: barely over 40 raw --> A+
Chemistry: A --> A
Sole regrets probably being not putting enough effort into Chem.
Tl;dr If you're depressed about failing an exam, don't be! It's probably better for you in the long-run

You guys still have a whole year left, don't waste the holidays! (while everyone is partying you can well and truly get ahead)
