attempting the impossible and trying to get a SS close to 50 but will definitely never happen when i screw up my context SAC tomorrow  ???

I wanted a 35 for English but my oral literally demolished any hopes of achieving that. If my average for unit 3 is really bad (like really, really bad) can I still compensate for it if I do well in unit 4 and the exam?

Hi xjiaa,
You must be really stressed about your ranking, but don't stress!
There is still a LOT of chances for you to make it up. Also, I want to stress that your exam performance is what matters the most so do your best in the exam! So yes, I think SS higher than 35 is definitely possible.

I want to tell you a story of mine . I did Methods last year. I maintained a rank of ~ 2 within my cohort. Unfortunately, I didn't do as well on the exam and got SS of 42. What I want to tell you is: you can really get anything So don't stress and just do your best. I believe in you! :)

of course!! anything is possible  :) and like Apink! said, your exam performance is what matters most, so if you do well on the exam you can definitely get above 35!

Hahah GAT on Tuesday...our year 12 co-ordinator is a darl and has organised a morning tea for us all prior to the GAT  8)

How was everyone's day?
Mine was pretty good...we got our results back from the massive methods sac, I got 34/50 (68%) which I'm super happy with :D
Also had pt 1 of my context sac today and got a lot written, so I'm on track for a strong finish with pt 2 next lesson.

I have a dark cloud looming over me though...our chem aos2 sac is on Friday haha
Let's just say I'm not looking forward to it  :-X Should hopefully be able to get a decent mark though

Don't worry. Read my old post from last year. EAL is harder than I thought it would be....  Didn't even think I'd get 35, ended up with 46. My advice : the worst thing you could possibly do is get discouraged and lose hope. Write essays, get them marked, correct them, improve them, rinse repeat and then absolutely smash that exam! You'll be fine !

Yeah same with me for sacs - but the freedom I get is to feel guilt-free and do the same things I was doing before the sac.

Good luck! :)

End of Unit 3 tomorrow and glad that SACs are over with! GAT on Tuesday and I have a practise exam for English on Monday and Literature on Wednesday. The pressure is on too because my school is paying to have a VCAA assessor mark them!  :-\

This happened to me the days before the English exam. Talk to a family member, teacher or close friend, it will help.
