There might be a window of opportunity during orientation where you could change your electives. If worse comes to worst, next year tell the curriculum administration team that you want a subject change. They should be able change it for you since it is quite easy for them to change it because all the electives are run at the same time.

I think u can also talk bout it or something in course confirmation

the analytical and spectroscopic science

Wow. 
Dat did not exist when I first started jmss nor for this year's yr 10s.
This subject is basically half of unit 3 chem, which I find it boring.

HOWEVER, it is probably a really cool subject because in yr 12 you would only get a superficial understanding of spectroscopy which I find it really annoying and perhaps why I hated it. (JMSS has never NEVER NEVER finished the chem course on time. arkjbglkjgfhb;r  #yr12frustrations #vcelyf )

Also there probably be opportunities for you to see Spectroscopy in action. ( I didn't get to see NMR when I was given to opportunity to do so cuz I have to complete a titration competition Q.Q  ) And maybe you could get priortise to participate the titration competition (but after yr 11s and yr 12s).

I feel for you, I stuffed up my subject selection to and chose subjects that I will regret doing. I'm sure you can change them. Maybe you can ask at the interview in November?
I put Unit 2 Physics and Quarks to Quasars as my first and second choices. Anyone else doing the same?
I did want too have some people from AN in my class.

BTW, this is a great forum and we should keep it going until we graduate in 2017.

I am laughing so much I am actually crying!!  I cannot believe that you make such a big effort of trying to get to JMSS and then forgot all about the subject selection!!!

Seriously though I am sure it will be alright.  The people at JMSS really do look after you and they would realise that someone (YOU) did not pick their subjects.  It would not be a big deal for them to fit you in.  Anyway I get the impression that the real action happens at the subject confirmation interview and I don't think they would be doing any admin stuff ( like deciding how many classes of particular subjects and doing the timetables ) till after the interview.

Now remember there will be a subject confirmation interview in November, Orientation Day in December, a 3 day Orientation Camp in January 2015.  And don't forget to turn up at school on the first day for 2015, and don't forget you need your primary device and secondary device.  And don't forget to brush your teeth before you go to bed ...

Good to hear!  We would not want you to miss out on your subject selection and then have to spend the whole year sitting in the corner of the class!  On second thought spending the year in the corner with your laptop and do whatever you want actually doesn't sound that bad ...

so,  I got a new laptop for Jmss!  Lenovo Yoga ThinkPad.  It was on special for $500 off on the weekend. So excited to use it at Jmss

Yeah you need to bring both devices for the camp.  I guess since we will be staying there for 3 days, it might be a good idea to bring the chargers for the devices as well.  Unless you have a 3000 hour battery or something ....

I requested the test results and received it in the mail in 2 days.  May be they forgot or lost your request.  How long has it been?
