so is 39/40 and 60/60 from top rank at a stronger cohort good enough for 50??
Possibly, but it depends on the States performance and the cutoffs

For the core question were we had to draw the regression line on the scatterplot did we have to label the two points, i just drew the line however i did write the points i used in brackets right underneath the question, will i get the mark?
you do not need to write the points you used as far as i know, in vcaa 2009 you had to draw a line and the assessors report does not mention anything about points

for matrices 3a, why is it 50? shouldn't it be 10 since they said:consider from mr.B to mr.C only
2014: Furthermath [46], Khmer [35]

The question said "Consider the voters who preferred mr Broad in May and who were expected to prefer Mr Choi in June. What percentage of these voters are now expected to prefer Mr Broad in June".

B-C was 0.1. Then B-C became 0.
B-B was 0.8. Then B-B became 0.85. (An increase of 0.05)
B gained 0.05 of C's 0.1, therefore he gained 50% of C's voters in June.

ahh thanks for the explanation!.

If i got 39/40 for the first exam, 57/60 for the second exam, and i am the first rank in my cohort with an average of 90.833. Is 45+ still possible for me?

Yes it is possible depending on how your cohort performed, if they did well then your sac results should be scaled up, which would give you a 45+

for the last business question i used a different method to get just the interest earned in 1 month using the new principal which was $538 and did it as a percentage of 2500 which was 22% but forgot to do 100-22 to get 78 idk if i can get 1 mark?
Also for matrices question about what matrix tells us i said that it tells us the preferences for each of the three candidates in march is this correct?

2015: English [35] Mathematical Methods [41] Specialist Maths [37] Physics [41] Serbian [32]

You might get one, I'm not sure of the marking for this module.

The matrix gives the total number of votes for each candidate in March

Guuuuys, come on. I don't feel like 'predict my study score' questions really count as discussion. Can we make a separate thread dedicated to that stuff so we can focus on talking about the actual exam in this one?
Also, may I direct you here: How to Predict your own Study Score - A Guide Apparently it is rather accurate, you can use the grade distributions from last year to estimate. http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/vce/statistics/2013/statssect3.aspx
2013: Psychology [35]
2014: Legal studies [40] Further [44] English [42] HHD [41] Literature [33]
Atar: 93.45
2015: Bachelor of Secondary Education (Honours) / Arts at Monash Clayton
Available for tutoring in all subjects I scored 40+ in! PM if you are interested.

I'd appreciate a guess either way :)
Thanks
