For what it's worth, I was invited to attend Monash interviews last year with a UMAT of 78 percentile...was extremely surprised when the email came through...

For those who didn't do as well as they would've liked, don't give up hope, there's always next year & alternate pathways!

---
My atar was 99.35 :)

Yeah I ended up with an 80 percentile UMAT and was aiming for a 98-99 ATAR. Gonna be tough (or impossible) to get in :/

Not sure if I want to study interstate, or if I should take the chance and do Biomed and Monash, then hoping to get into Med.

Just a general question, when we normally talk about Monash offers on this forum, are we talking about getting a normal placement, or as CSP Bonded placement (slightly lower requirements I'd think)?

Usually I will specify bonded if I'm referring to it.

With the interstate thing, you could apply anyway, give yourself more options and then decide once offers are out. :) Good luck either way!

I got:
Section 1- 55
Section 2- 60
Section 3- 60
Percentile: 86

Any chance at Monash med if i get ~99.5 star and a decent interview?

Yes

Probably low 80s. I've heard people get in with low 80s and a cheeky 99.95.

What UMAT %ile would an ATAR of 98.80-99.20 probably require?

Hey all - was just wondering if I have a chance anywhere with a score of 46-74-60, 90th percentile? With an expected ATAR of 99.5+

Happy that I did better than I expected, but pretty bummed about S1, as I know that probably cuts out a fair few unis  :-\ I was thinking maybe UNSW but are there any other possibilities? Any advice would be much appreciated :)

Does anyone know whether 94th percentile is going to be high enough for UNSW or Monash or interstate Adelaide? Thanks! :)

And whether 94 will get me a first round interview for UNSW? Or will I have to wait until January? I'm looking at 99+. Thank you once again!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the interviews conducted in late Nov/early Dec are for NSW/ACT applicants and interstate applicants have to wait till late Jan.

Ahhh, I'm sorry, I forgot to mention this! I'm NSW, haha, which was why I was wondering if I'm still eligible for interstate Adelaide because apparently the UMAT is 96+. :(

Just wondering do the universities look at your overall score or percentile?

Hey, does anyone know which uni's definitely still have the 50-50-50 rule? I've been searching around but keep getting varied answers for the same unis or outdated information.

I got a percentile in the high 80's but unfortunately my score for section 2 was less than 50... So basically which universities can I definitely rule out? I was originally considering Monash, UNSW, UWS, Newcastle (Joint Medical Program), UAdel, Flinders, UQ or Griffith if that helps. Any advice would be appreciated!

e-mail them for official responses, some unis change their criteria almost annually and it's hard to keep in touch.

Yeah, I guess I'll have to do that then. Thanks!
