Okay hello, how are we all?

How come there aren't many people in the 2017 cohort? The 2017 conversation thread seems dead

I think it's mainly because the people on the forum are largely 2016-ers; whilst super valuable in Year 11, students often only start using online resources like this in their HSC year! If you get all your mates on here, though, and they get all of their friends on here, and so on and so on, we can build a massive 2017 community (which will help you, them and us!). If you think about it, telling your friends about this forum is basically a good deed; Atar Notes users, paying it forward.

ATAR: 99.80

Mathematics Extension 2: 93
Physics: 93
Chemistry: 93
Modern History: 94
English Advanced: 95
Mathematics: 96
Mathematics Extension 1: 98

Studying a combined Advanced Science/Law degree at UNSW

Oh fair enough.

Anyways are there any online had forums other than ATAR notes where I can get help? (Just curious)

With the minds we have on here (and I swear I'm not bragging), you won't need any other forum xoxo

To be honest, yes, there are other forums -  we have various members that are also members of Bored of Studies.  That forum is really great in many ways and much 'busier' than this (though this is growing really quickly) but, well, generally at the sacrifice of quality.  You have the choice of an overload of scrappy, fairly useless and often rude one-liner answers there, or speedy, neat, detailed, concise and actually polite replies here hahaha.  And I just love the friendly accepting atmosphere here too.

Just my opinion from exploring them both (and then choosing to use AtarNotes), and I'd agree with Jake that there's unlikely to be questions that AN can't answer that BOS can. :)

Bored of studies seems really overrated in my opinion. Don't really like it there too much. Plus it seems very addicting and distracting at times, just being in the pages as a guest. ATAR notes is better because of the free essay marking  ;D (thanks for all your hard work guys.)

Also to Jakeislove you are 100% correct :D
