Does anyone else have to resist from studying subjects they like to study for ones they don't? Like I just wanna study for physics but I have to do ext. maths

So much truth haha I literally spent a whole week studying for ext math during the holidays and neglected all my other subjects and even now when i should be splitting my time for ext math and SAC which is 2 days later all I am studying for is ext math....
--HSC subjects--

let say you get - 60/70, times that by 100 and you should a percentage /100 !  so basically 60 divided by 70 times 100 :)

correct me if I'm wrong

I don't know why you'd ask such a question but if you at least passed I'm pretty sure 50+ is reachable

In extension of Rui, although it's unlikely, it is possible unfortunately. Getting all of your marks in the low 50's is likely to yield a <50 ATAR, just due to how everything works.

Yeah, unfortunately it happens. The ATAR is purely a rank of your performance against everyone else in the state; there isn't a direct relationship between your mark and your ATAR. But I am sure that if you worked hard your efforts will pay off! :)

If you've completed the HSC this year and have your English essays or creative on hand (as well as ANY OTHER RESOURCES YOU HAVE AT ALL!), we would LOVE for you to upload it here so that it can be found by future HSC students! It's a helpful resource. Even if you think your work isn't good enough to help someone - just know that it could even be one sentence that gives someone an idea for how they go about their own essay - and we all know how good that light bulb moment is when you feel like you don't know where to start.

Congratulations again all...can't wait to discuss the results when they come out :)

Hey everyone,

Anyone still around from 2016!!!?
I'd really love to hear what you are all up to and how your first semester of uni/life/work has been!!!

How weird has it been leaving high school and seeing the new year 12s go through the same stages of panic and stress we did?!?!

just got back from watching the Drama Trials Night performances at my school, felt so weirdly nostalgic for the HSC - I remember how much fun I had with those performances. God I miss drama :(
