i think if i calculated everything and remembered my marks correctly im looking at around a 31/40 for exam 1, hoping for at least 60/80 on exam 2, what study score would i be looking at?

mid 30s, dont know what specifically, but i dont think youd get higher than like 38, if cutoffs remain the same!

Hey guys, just wondering at a Study score prediction
i have a strong cohort and our sacs are relatively hard
(exam 2 ER level), so likely to scale.
C for SACS
B for Exam 1
B+/Low A for Exam 2

What raw study score would i be looking at?

How did everyone find the range of ln(x^2+1)?

Think I did quite well in the exam.... lost nothing big, really (hopefully lost 1-2 marks max). Got pretty much the exact same thing as the suggested solutions. Last question wasn't actually that difficult, just required some logical reasoning and just precision overall.

Anyway, I think that the A+ cutoff this year will be slightly lower as it was slightly harder than last year's paper (with the exception of the last question though, which would be around the same difficulty), and also the fact that most schools across the state have had tech active sacs across the whole year.

So far I have a 93% average on SACs (going to a selective school) and I think I lost 3 marks for exam 1.
What would I need to get for tomorrow's exam to get a study score of 45+ ???
And is there still a chance of me getting 50??

Which select entry school do you go to? Macrob/Melbourne High, Nossal or Suzanne Cory?
Personally though, I know of a guy last year (I go to Suzanne Cory) who averaged 94% for his sacs (rank 1), lost around 3 marks for exam 1 (A+) and two for exam 2 (A+) and got a 46 raw. My average for this year for SACs is around the same as his ~94-95%, and considering that I maybe lost around 1 to 2 marks for exam 1, I'm also (hopefully) aiming for around a similar score. But I guess you still have a chance to get very close to 50 since your school sacs are probably harder than ours. But don't worry though, I'm sure you will smash tomorrow's exam!

(x^2 +1 ) is [1,inf)
range = [ln 1 ,ln(inf) ) =[0,inf)

How would you do q.7 b. I got so confused.
it's asking you Pr(A given it's faulty) =Pr(A n F)/Pr(F) = (0.05 x4/9 )/(1/15) =1/3  Pr(F) is from part a.

I go to Nossal High School, probs maybe rank 4-5 with my SAC average. Nooooo, tomorrow's exam is going to be so hard :(

What sort of study score would I be looking at? I'm on a 96.5% average for my SACs which is around rank 3 or 4 (at a school which would normally have their SACs scaled up slightly) and lost between 1-3 marks on paper 1. What would I have to get in Exam 2 to get a study score in the high 40s?
Thanks for your help!

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's all over for me, the year's worth of hard work all goes down the drain after panicking and blanking out on exam 1.

What was your score mate

Maybe no more than 4 marks for exam 2. Also, depends on the actual difficulty of the exam. And also, for your SACs, what rank are u? SAC rankings in VCE are more important than your actual raw scores (although personally I don't know my actual ranking within my own school, I guess I'm around 2nd, possibly 3rd).

For 33/40 for exam 1. What would I need for a 38 in exam 2. Assuming high A's for sacss
