What does the school do with your achievements and portfolio once the process is over. Do they chuck it out since they asked for a photocopied version because im on the waiting list and dont know how they are going to refer back to my co curricular achievements unless they rank the students.

We can't really answer that because I don't think that any of us know. But just relax (or study :DD) over the holidays because there's not much else you can do for the application process.

If I had to guess, I would say that they take notes on what you you've given them and chuck it out afterwards. So that would mean that all your co-curricular achievements would be noted. Then, they probably rank students, depending on their test results and interview results.
When faced with a problem, you either find a way or an excuse.

Do they give late offers on the holidays ? When are the offers over because on the website it says JMSS contacts the schools of the students that will be going to JMSS in 2018 once the offers are finalised, which will be done within the first 3 weeks of term 4. Does that mean thats when the offers are completely filled?

i don't know properly but I think most probably the late offers will come over the holidays because the first round offers are due today, so they'll probably need like a week to sort that out and then they'll give you the second round offers.

We'll get an email about it some time next week (last week of school :D)
I think that's when you sign up for the methods test because they'll talk about it during the night.

I can't wait :DD

Yes it is. The offers stop coming out at the end of October. I'm not sure whether they'd give offers over the holidays or not. (probably will)

Wait so once the enrolment process is finished meaning all the places are filled up and finalised is that when jmss writes to the principals of the students that are going to jmss. So i should idealy be receiving a late offer before ~3rd week of term 4?

Do you think that the 3% cap applies to the second round offer?

I think 3% rule applies to all Year 10 entry. No 3% rule for year 11 entry only. If the first round offers in your school have already reached 3% of your year level, I think the chance of second round offer is someone from your school rejected the offer.
