Oh yeah guys btw I got a 2nd round offer in JMSS so happy. Hey how did u guys do in NAPLAN this year? I did kinda crappy (bad in writing) how did u guys go, luckily jmss doesn't put a strong emphasis in english im relatively strong in maths and science but ~in english what about u guys?
I think I did really crap in language conventions even though English is one of my stronger subjects. I don't even remember what a clause is, we were never taught it in school I'm pretty sure haha, maths was really easy I think I got band 10 for it

Lol did everyone do that good?

*shrug* naplan doesn't really matter anyway. i'm a bit more of an all-rounder but some people are stronger in maths and weaker in english, vice verca. :)

Lol ik but its kinda funny how during the jmss interview one of the parents brought in the naplan results from year 7 eventhough jmss is a senior secondary school and puts little to no interest in naplan. I feel like naplan is kinda rigged though cause usually im a strong writer but my results didn't reflect it although there is a high chance i scored well in the science writing at JMSS. Are you guys sitting the methods interview im currently studying simultaneous equations is there any area of shapes in the test?
Yeah I believe there is, don't remember off the top of my head but you should just remember your basic formulae for areas of shapes .

This thread is becoming slighly inactive nowdays after the results. Yet will still have 140 pages more then any other thread from previous years.

Is there congruence because i pretty much never covered it. The two that i am not as strong in is congruence and probability. Apart from that im fairly confident.

Just left, I was with the stage band and physics booth (didn't get to stay there too long because of the music performance).

How'd you find it?

I found pharmaceutical Science and Physics unit 2 fascinating, especially pharmaceutical science because it's the combination of my two favourite topic, chemistry and biology(AKA Biochemistry).
