my old Italian teacher (who was from Italy) said this was perfectly acceptable but pineapple is WRONG

I don't believe I ever specified that the pizza in discussion would have either cheese or sauce.

Perhaps it's a banana-y but cheeseless and sauceless pizza.

I suppose you could add banana to a dessert pizza. But I've only ever found one place that makes a decent dessert pizza.

If you mashed a banana and then spread it onto the pizza base, you could put other cool fruits on top and stuff and have a sweet pizza.

One time we got a PR delivery to the office I worked in that was a round slice of watermelon, with a light sugar sauce on top, with other fruits and flowers on top of that. A watermelon pizza - actually really delicious but obviously too much work for a snack, it was worthwhile for a PR package.

Hell yeah. Pineapple on anything. Gotta be tinned though - if it's sour the pizza will be ruined. Dunno if you guys would trust my opinion on food though - I eat cereal dry out of choice.

(though i can see how dry NutriGrain or Weet-Bix wild berry bites could work as a nice snack - may have to give it a go!)
