For me, I have two classes which I absolutely love. As much as I've tried, I cannot pick a favourite between Legal Studies and English.
I enjoy legal because the content (and the legal and political system in general) really fascinates me, also my legal teacher is truly incredible and makes every class interesting and understandable. I moved into 3/4 this year without having done 1/2 and have really found it to be my unknown strength. I've been doing quite well in it so, naturally, I really enjoy every minute of it. Now, while I wouldn't say I'm the most incredible English student, English has always been one of my stronger and favourite subjects throughout high school. However, I have found I even enjoy it more this year than any other year, which I put down to the fact that I have an
absolutely amazing English teacher. My teacher is really passionate about his job and helping his students improve which I find has made studying English really enjoyable. I've noticed a major improvement in my writing because I actually want to match my efforts to my teacher's, and (undoubtedly because of my teacher) I have really come to appreciate English and can see how important my writing skills will be to me when I apply them to my future career and life in general.
If I think about my other classes, I enjoy the class much more (and typically perform better in it) if it's evident that the teacher is committed to and enjoys their job and seeking improvements in their students irrespective of whether they are the brightest student in the class or not.
