Guys thank you for your replies. Yes last Graphs and Relations answer is 9 and 3 as this is still within the feasible region and provides the minimum cost. Core question 1bii is 975 as I added an extra zero and definitely -46.8 for Q3a.  ;)
Thanks

Hi guys,
I was wondering if you can help figure out what kind of study score I will get for further. I didn't find the exams hard at all and am ranked 2nd in my school.
  • exam 1: ~38/40
  • exam 2: about 56/60
  • Sacs: 91/100
*edit: thanks Paolo

Hey, I was wondering what study score i can expect for further
My exam 1 score was low so i'm not sure that I can still achieve a 35-40 study score

Exam 1 26/40
Exam 2 52/60
SACS 84/100

Thank you!

Error in the exam. Matrices Q1cii

See the attachment. Clearly, rows 1,2 and 3 represent the total earnings for weeks 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Hence the sum of rows 2 and 3 in Q1cii represent the total earnings for weeks 2 and 3, NOT the total earnings for Rolls and Sandwiches for all 3 weeks.
If we had [0 1 1] as an answer, would that be considered wrong. And also for the question which requires the total number of students in term 4, if we added values of the initial matrix and added, no one would leave the elective activities, would we still be awarded full marks or did we have to create a transition matrix and find values at term 4
Thank you

I am kinda stressed because I wrote the whole exam in pencil when it says write in blue or black pen in the front of the exam page.
Will my exam be unmarked??? :-\ :-\ :-\

Id say theyd mark the [0 1 1] as correct because despite it being contradictory to the written statement its the only matrix that made the equation provided true.

No no! Don't worry they will definitely mark your exam! I had a friend who wrote theirs in pencil last year and they still crushed the exam! The only reason they get you to write in pen is because they scan them or do some part of the marking electronically and pencil can sometimes not show up. I'm sure you're not the only one though and I most definitely would not stress about it. It probably happens every year so they know how to deal with it :)

For the question which requires the total number of students in term 4, if we added values of the initial matrix which equal to 750, and then added to the answer: "no one would leave the elective activities" would we still be awarded full marks or did we have to create a transition matrix and find values at term 4
Thank you

It's only one mark, so I think just as long as you write the correct answer "750" it's totally fine. My reasoning to the answer was the same as yours but I checked it with the values in Term 4.
VCE Subjects:
2017: Further Mathematics | Biology 1 & 2
2018: Legal Studies 3 & 4 | Chemistry | Mathematical Methods (CAS) | English | Psychology

SAC mark 98/100 (equal 2nd in strong cohort)
Exam 1 39/40
Exam 2 59/60 (unless 749 is accepted for matrices 2c)
What study score would I be looking at? Is it 45+?
