Congratulations on 1 of 2 exams completed!
Interested to hear what people thought of the difficulty and questions (especially since it's the second year of the new study design) - comparable to the 2016 Exam 1? Or to the 2017 Northern Hemisphere (which was notably harder)?

Same, was it just me or did the thing not look exactly to scale when working stuff out 😭

Yeah I definitely struggled with the scale. For some reason I kept on getting the gradient of line BC to be 1 at x=1 on the graph of y=f(x), which seemed wrong...

I got fractions of 27 too! I kind of got a negative y-coord for C though, so I just made it positive  :-\

What did people get for C?? I ATTEMPTED it and somehow ended up with (1/3 , 1/6). NO clue how or what the real answer is.

How did people answer the trig questions regarding the values for tan?
