Ahhh, that sinking feeling when you realise in the last 5 minutes that there are actually six Extended Response questions. rip 9 marks  :'(
I always vary slow when I doing multiple-choice questions at first,so I doing it afterwards,as a consequence ,I have insufficient time to finish the multiple choices at the last 25minutes of the exam and 1/3of the questions I just guessed........

Got 40/40 for exam 1
 69/80 for exam 2
Ranked relatively high in a strong cohort
Would a 40+ still be possible?
( :'(dropped 2 marks on the last question didn't notice the 'percentage'... screwed up exam 2 so hard)

Probably 42-43

I think you'll get 40. Exam 2 will probably be a high A but exam 1 should pull you up.

What's the estimation of a+ cut off this year for exam 2 tho? I thought it was fairly challenging somehow, I've done worse than any other trial papers I did for preparation...

A+ for spec doesn't usually change that much due to the strength of the cohort so will most likely stay at low 70s/80

I haven't viewed the solutions but how were we meant to get that time question? I couldn't find an exact answer as my CAS wasn't able to find one so I had to use a decimal approximation instead.

Also I found it to be very long, but quite easy too, as I managed to complete all the extended response questions, although I had to guess some multiple choice questions as they were taking too long to fit into the 30min I try and do the MC section in.

Also I really stuffed up exam 1, hoping for at least over 50% on it, but I feel like that I have made up for it on this exam, I hope that at least cancels out and I can get over 30?  :-\

I found exam 2 alright, similar trend methods.

I bombed the easy exam 1 and performed at a decent level for exam 2.

Anyway, bombed exam 1 way too hard to get a decent score. So sad tbh..

Which time question are you referring to, illuminati_confirmed?
It turns out I did get the correct answer for MCQ 10, but it's been bugging me for a while.
I've finally found the time to sit down and investigate it. I think it's the most technical question I've ever seen assessed in Specialist (at least to find an answer in a way that will satisfy me...).
Below is my ACTUAL solution for it:
