Yes it was an Excellence and Equity Scholarship. I'll just leave it then :)
If you are not going to accept the scholarship then i seriously urge you to reject the scholarship. Consider someone who is on the cusp of getting the scholarship and is just waiting for someone else to reject.

I think she was replying to the person she quoted and thought she doesn't have to do anything to accept the scholarship, rather than not actually wanting it.

@Natty, you can't just leave it according to that info page. You need to register a MyMonash account and specify that you accept the scholarship or so it seems.

What happens if people keep denying them?  My friend with a 99.55 got one...how far down will they continue to go along the ENTER line?

They are not offered to people in sequential ENTER order. Two of my friends both had an engineering double in their preferences at Monash, one got 99.50, didn't get a scholarship until close to the end (funnily enough just after I rejected mine), my other friend got high 98s and was offered one today (but two years ago).

For the most part they will continue to offer the scholarships to those who qualify, lowest for most is 95

I got a text message from "Monash Offers" around 10am on Monday, saying I had received an Excellence and Equity scholarship, so I assume its via sms?
