Help:: Statement of marks - WTF :(

The assessors reports will shed some light.

hmm i am getting the inspection sometime this week to my school, they are taking ages to send it, i'm nervous that it'll be too late to apply for a remarking once i get it inspected... but i shall see for now:)

Hoping this threat hasn't died, but i came across it and I would be SO SO annoyed if I was in your situation vexx So how has it gone? Have they looked into it by now?

hey.
yeah i had it inspected yesterday, for the method of loci question, on the assessor's report, you got zero marks if you said 'mentally' instead of 'visually'.  you haven't done unit 4 yet, but pretty much saying mentally has been fine every other year except last year (09) where they changed it for the assessor's report.
soooo annoying, it was exactly the same as their assessor's report one but instead of 'visually associate' each of the... i said mentally associate instead.
grrr
oh welll... life goes on.....

clearly 44 is not a bad score or anything, i was just annoyed i lost marks on something stupid - but i'm over it

Yeah exactly if I was vexx and had compared answers with a friend who got 50 and they seemed similar, and ALSO got the statement of marks and thought something was fishy I would be annoyed! But of course, it's over and done with and vexx never said 44 was "the worst thing in the world". Lol.

that would have been a huge strain off your chest knowing you were supposed to lose those marks

tezza- i know, i'm glad to know all the other marks i lost i had a reason to lose, except for a 3 mark question i shouldn't have gotten 0 for, but i really should have added in that single word to get all 3 marks .___. rather silly, but everyone in psych: learn from this!

what i wrote was pretty much the same as what they had wrote except i had mine in a little more detail with the example provided, and used "mentally associate" instead of visually.
grrrr, mentally had been right according to my teacher& non-vcaa sacs though.
but be very careful with psych terms as it's extremely pedantic regardless if what your teacher thinks, look it up on past vcaa papers!

haha that's so good! i love multichoice-
even though i reckon for unit 4 multichoice was always harder than short answer :O ha

Im loving multiple choice too this year. I always used ti stumble on the MC sections for all subjects but once you get the correct method for selecting the right choice its so much easier than short answer.
