I got in the high 40s last year and would say you must know the material extremely well and know much more than the textbook gives you. Be prepared for anything in the exam as its such a broad content which can be examined and its know that extra bit more which will the examiners look to. Key definitions of items as well. hope this helps.

on some other post here on the vn forums. i remember seeing something about.. a person saying they only needed to get an 86% average on the p.e exams..
to get a 45 or something for their p.e study score.. and i quote "p.e is full of duds and retarded jocks" who tend to be low achievers.. which apparently makes it not that hard to get in the high 40's..

2010: Biology 37+   Literature 25+    Physical ed 36+   Psychology 44+
ATAR: 80+ and I will be happy.

yeah getting 90%+ will pretty much guarentee you high 40's considering some years 90% and even 85% (2007) to get a 50, the exams are apparently rather tricky, but still, it doesn't seem to hard to get high 40's from looking at the papers so far.

yepp:) because even if we don't do as well as we hoped and get in the 80%'s we can still get mid 40's :D
(hopefully, depends on the year but still...)

Oi guys quick question, can't get my head around the differences between a mediator, strategy and an intervention. Anyone able to elaborate for me? examples would be excellent :)

Mediator: A mechanism through which the intervention is believed to influence PA behaviour
Intervention = strategy.

Ok so a mediator basically means a change in physical activity due to an intervention program? Lol you wonder why they give an example with an Intervention a Mediator and change in physical activity.. if a mediator and change in PA are the same..

yeah the mediator is the influence of the intervention.
haha you kinda confused me there - i haven't really read into it much just wrote down mediator as a def and new that intervention is a strategy and that should be all is needed.
