where are some good places to eat at Monash?

i can think of a few..

hmm lol i can't think of what exactly they are called...

campus centre...
-the asian shop that sells sushi and noodles etc... near the new fish and chip store..
-the fish and chip shop isn't that bad
-the pizza place near the stairs is good

oh and the best hot chocolate that i've had... is in building 75

warning: do not buy sushi at the front of the campus centre...wait maybe its back lol ... the long line of food where all the tables are..

ps...i should of memorised what these places are called... its been too long away from uni lol

Nah VN is a very Monash uni based site. We should ask our members to fill out a poll to work out which uni has VNers, but all the main people are Monash uni students.

Haven't ate from any Monash shops yet, been taking advantage of the free BBQ's for the time being ;) When O-week comes to a sad end and I'll be forced to visit the food shops I shall post back with my opinions!

Campus Centre:

Meeting point - absolute shithole, enjoy your food poisoning
Peri Peri - awesome chicken, expensive
Fish and Chips - fucking cop out, why raise the price bitches?
Asian Noodle shop - everything taste the same. EVERYTHING
The Kitchen - crap
Asian grocery - you call that FOOD?
The Deli - overpriced, but very nice
Coffee HQ - better off getting your coffee from somewhere else, brandfag.
Grain express - average takeaway Chinese. Do not want.
Wholefoods - vego, nice atmosphere. Very comfy couches, have had unspeakable things done on top of them.
Pizza shop - not too bad

Hargrave:
Fibonacci - Awesome coffee, convenient location
Kebab shop - their price is always on the rise
Asian shop - fucking. disgusting.

Matheson:
The Den <3 awesome food, shocking coffee

STRIP:
Full of old people.

Summary - go to the Den, go to Fibonacci, go to wholefoods, volunteer in wholefoods, fall in love with fellow volunteer, find out she's bi, have sex after volunteering, have an open and polygamous relationship with her and her cult, have sex with her lesbian girlfriend, break up with her but stay in the cult, eventually catch AIDs, die in the toilets of the campus center reading how Stephen Conroy stuffed his penis in a cow.

They have a place called Fibonacci? This is an epic realisation seeing as I've only ever eaten from The Den.

Yes, it's in the Hargraves-Andrew Library (you can probably figure how why they call it that now).
