Took a bit of effort, but I reckon it was worth it. Just a matter of retaining everything until the exam. Only hard part in UNIT 4 is remembering all the ratios in Chapters 18 and 19. Oh, and the period cost dilemma.

Can someone please clarify that we DONT need to memorise the ratio formulas and that we will not be required to calculate ratios for analysis

I'm pretty sure we DON'T need to memorise the ratio formulas. All the questions I have done have not required any form of calculation whatsoever. But they do ask you to explain ways of improving Stock Turnover, Interest Cover etc. But to answer these questions, you really have to have an understanding of how the ratio is calculated (e.g. Working Capital Ratio = CA/CL so improving it would mean more CA or less CL).

I just did the first part of my first SAC today... wasn't too hard. although there were a lot of mistakes when I went over it!

LOL. Nope... everyone in my class got higher than me! 52/60 was the lowest score out of the Year 11 class... though our Year 12 class did worse. :P

GOOD LUCK with your SAC on Chapters 15 + 16 tomorrow! :)

I was just wondering where everyone is up to?... we've just finished Chapter 17 of the Cambridge Textbook (Budgeting) and my Budgeting SAC is the week after next.

LAST 2 CHAPTERS TO GO.

Where are people at?.. :P

I've just got the budgeting chapter of the Neville Box Textbook to go.
My teacher said to do 21 before 20, so i did. It's pretty massive.

haha yeah chapter 21 is just theory. it's not too bad though, especially because there is a light at the end of the tunnel when doing it.
