^ what TT said,  alot of state players in haileybury and I heard a story about some guy staying down ALL the time because he was pursuing some sort of sport activity...not quite sure on the details.

I haven't heard that, and I went to Haileybury.

That said, Haileybury does offer Sport Scholarships, sometimes to people I don't think have the academic ability for it. For a period of time, Table Tennis was the only sport Haileybury was actually good at (the joke being that Haileybury was the only APS school able to attract Asians), and so the then-Principal increased the amount of scholarships to attract players.

I'm at at Caulfield Grammar and a lot of the kids here are on sports scholarships. I know of an olympic level diver, table tennis player and runner. As well as a national level hockey player, all in my year level. Also many of my friends went to MHS and MacRob and did not like it very much. A few of them transferred to JMSS and some even came back to Cualfield for year 10.

Well this thread is a bit old but....

But, isn't jmss a really good school? Almost like any other selective school?

Good, but overrated. Some things about it you would love, others you would hate. Definitely not up there with MHS in terms of facilities though

THE SCHOOL IS SO FREAKIN' TINY!  >:(

They opened up a tiny library recently on the second floor but I'm pretty sure nobody ever uses it

Yeah next to the basketball courts is where people do music, but I've never been in that 'weird house'
