I am applying for SEAS for categories 4, 5, 7 and 8. Does anybody know whether I need to send anything to VTAC or whether everything can be done online?

I tried calling VTAC but I don't think their phone's working for some reason?

It's because there are hundreds of other people like you trying to apply with less than 2 hours to go.

Here is a summary of which SEAS application types need evidence/supporting statements/documentation.

        Category 2: a copy of your passport entry visa, photograph page, and
                    initial arrival stamp into Australia
        Category 4: statement of support
        Category 5: proof of Centrelink benefits (if VTAC is not getting them
                    electronically on your behalf) or statement of support (if
                    you do not receive any current Centrelink benefits) and/or
                    proof of parent/guardian receipt of Family Tax Benefit-A
        Category 7: SNAP form (if you selected RMIT)
        Category 9: statement of support
        Category 10: refugee status papers or copy of your passport entry visa,
                    photograph page, and initial arrival stamp into Australia

Cool, no worries. I think I did all of that online already. Hmm...it's probably not important, but for category 7, what do they mean by SNAP form?

My statement of support was done online. I didnt send anything in. It didnt prompt me for anything more so hopefully its all good. It feels like ive missed something though.

I had a fight with the head of senior school over SEAS. My school made me do one even though I believe I don't deserve one. I've been a mess most of the past six months but it's been an intrinsic thing that hasn't had to do with anything actually happening to me (like friends of mine who have had glandular fever or have had parents get divorced or gone through the bushfires). My marks did slip last term and I'm exhausted at the moment, but everything that's just happened this year to me has just been 'life' and 'growing up' in my opinion. So frustrating.

can a SEAS application ever be detrimental?
also, do the uni's ever see why you qualified for SEAS?

for instance, i could imagine for a performing arts course they might not look as highly on a SEAS student with panic disorder as one that didn't due to the nature of the course.
