Well it's 2 years early because (1) I skipped a year in primary school and (2) was in the Accelerated Program.

I say you're at an advantage - you're sure as hell never going to make this mistake again and you'll blitz English next year. It's the end ATAR that counts, not every (mis)step you make towards getting it.

Really good quote right there!
2011 - English, English Language, Philosophy, Indonesian SL, Outdoor and Environmental Studies.

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

How on earth did you get to do English in year 11?

I say don't worry about it.

you can can't you? I was wondering too but then figured you can do a vce subjject ahead of your year level? just like you would in methods, chem ectt...

correct me if I'm wrong! :|

I thought English would be an exception to that rule, given how heavily it hinges on Units 1 and 2. It's certainly not offered at our school until Year 12.

Haha... well, I ended up doing roughly 3-4 essays a week for the September/October period.

I wrote up some practice exams but I actually never got a chance to do them.. not even ONE.

So in essence, I really only practiced writing single pieces (in an hour) and they were all successful. Never practiced all three though - the thought seemed a bit daunting.

But yeah.. I guess I'll try again next year.

Dude maybe do lit/language? If you'd find that more enjoyable. Don't worry, my first exam was Physics this year and I blanked/ panicked and lost confidence in myself. I started telling myself I'm screwed as I only had 30 mins left and wasted heaps of time.

But yeah, choking once makes you ever more determined to kill your next exam! Don't worry about it man, keep up the hard work.

centre adult education. its in the city. lots of people go there and do subjects if their high schools dont offer the subject, or if they have time table clashes.

and the teachers there are pretty much head hunted. they hunt for the teacher, the teacher does not apply for a job there.
