I just passed it off as 'scientifique jargon' because I really wanted to use the word Jargon and I thought, it went it nicely, but I'm not sure now.....

Are they really expecting that we know the background information? It isn't really part of 'analysing' a text..

Also, I didn't mention the image in the intro and didn't analyse the first visual. Will I lose many marks because of it?

I analysed the title and did a paragraph on the earth one atleast...

Yeah, I know. I just couldn't work out what it meant and completely forgot about it. They shouldn't take off too many marks for it though, should they? Apart from that my LA was decent, was 4 pages. Think I should still get a 7?

Part of the criteria does address the incorporation of relevant background information.

I don't think you have to specifically mention the visuals in the intro, nor would you have to analyse both visuals; one will suffice the criteria. But, having said that, the second visual is an integral part of the speech.

Ok, thanks for that. I'm a bit less worried now lol. I did manage to analyse the second visual in detail so hopefully that will be sufficient enough for the examiners.

Ouch! It appears you didn't read the background information, Spreadbury. You're lucky though, that may just fabricate your lack of knowledge, haha! I'm sure you did great though, bud.
