In that case we all concur, it was a pun.  yay, 2 marks in the bank.  Only need 58 more now :P

To be honest I made shit up for most of the questions (wrote adjacency pair, overlapping at least 5 times) and the last question about syntax I had no idea how to answer. What did people get/

I talked about declarative and interrogative stuff.... but thats one of the questions i didn't finish so i wont even get half the marks for it!

I hated the first question on spoken.  There was soo much bull shit to discuss.  Think I screwed it.

For syntax, the second lot had ellipsis.  Also the first lot had some interrogatives.  Spoke about tense.  Anything I could think of really.  Might have thrown in parataxis as well....

sh*t! Totally forgot about ellipsis but instead said something about simple sentence for the thank-yous. LMAO :( :(

Look if they didn't accept metaphor they'd be pretty tight, given that a pun is based in metaphorical extension. ;)

What did you guys write for features to show that Part 2 was formal? I think I wrote use of jargon and passive voice but dunno the last one

I commented on sentence type, sentence structure as the second part was all simple and the first had compounding, and some ellipsis and substitution.
