yeah back in 2008 you could drop 2-3 to get 50, 5 marks for 48, i lost 2 last year and got 48

bah, i was never into vce maths, there's nothing interesting and the scores are not reflective of one's ability (as exemplified in this year's exam, some ppl would have lost 5 marks instantly on 1 question), if one wishes to pursue mathematics, then they should explore beyond the scope of vce maths.

yeah, they would have made it a show question and save themselves the trouble of consequential marking if they wanted to give it.

dumb though, because the number or people on 35/40 will be huge.  have fun working that one out vcaa morons...

Shit i forgot about units^2, you think they will penalise?

Nope, they won't
Look at 2007 Question 9b. It say's nothing about units^2.
Hope that puts your mind at ease.
