got my teacher to email. I Couldnt hack it i really wanted to know if i got full marks for MC at least. You would think robs right. and your right you cant argue against him, thats exactly what i say.

So I think its safe to say question 2 MC is C.

Thanks lex again.

No worries :)

I actually got an interesting email from someone who made a great case for C. The reason C would be right is because at exercise termination there is a greater concentration of lactate in muscle cells when compared to the blood. So therefore lactate concentration increases in the blood and decreases in the muscles.

Thanks for that :)

question 2 multiple choice is completely ambiguous, as both A and C are correct.
It depends on your interpretation of the question. A is correct because after completing the 1500m there will be a decrease in body temp (because no longer producing energy) and a decrease in hydrogen ion concentration (due to warm down and recovery). This is comparing after the race with DURING the race.

C is also correct because after the race , when compared to BEFORE THE RACE, there will be an increase in muscle glycogen (due to it being used for energy) and an increase in LA (due to use of the LA system being used.

For the answer to be C the question did ask for the difference physiologically prior and post race. This was confirmed as stated above.

I ended up getting far below what I predicted too! It seems i lost a mark randomly for so many questions - i was overly positive as my word expression is quite poor. Oh well! Mid-low A+ got me a 45.
So 110/120 would definitely be close to 50, and low 100s would be high 40s.

Future PE students - be careful!

Haha yes.
I meant be careful with your expression - make sure you write very carefully, don't go off topic and ensure its easy to understand or else they just take marks off.
