settling for B+ or A, but preferably A.. so 220
approx 40 on the exam for me

I don't have any essays marked by actual teachers, but I can share my lang-8 entries.

I THINK they're of a decent standard (A/A+?), and they're corrected by natives. I wrote them on a genkooyooshi first, so they're about 400-500ji (except one of the entries).

PS. Thanks for your website and referral to lang-8 Khoa! They're really helped me this year (although I found lang-8 a little too late >_>)
