Forum vs VCE Notes

Is it just me or is the forum much more popular than the actual VCE Notes page as a source of notes and/or questions regarding VCE? I also think the forum is more helpful and more easy to navigate.

Does anyone else think this as well?

I barely went to the Notes section :/

I find the forum more helpful...
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

same. I'm finding the forum as it is now very good, easy to work around. Simple. =)

I've been to the Notes section a few times, some notes produced by users are also very good.

me too, most people attach notes to relevant posts if they want to give them to the VN community anyway.

A revamp is definitely in order

i agree here as well, those notes are usually pretty scrappy (and old)

I wouldn't know because I graduated at around the same time the notes became available. However, I guess that the notes get you to visit the site and then the forum gets you to stay?

There isn't much activity at the notes section (Questions and Answers Relating to Plato from sarahxx was most recent for about 6 months:P)
2011: 96.35
2012: http://www.thegapyear2012.com/
2013: Arts (Global) Monash
2016: Juris Doctor (somewhere)

I think the forum is very easy to navigate, no real need to redesign the forum or anything. And I hardly go to the notes section so I don't know what's all that about but I'd say the forum is generally very helpful.

the notes section is kind of obsolete once you get onto the forum, but the whole reason i joined VN was originally because of the free notes. and then i discovered the forum.
2009: chinese SL(43-->50), methods CAS(not as good as chinese)

2010: english(41), methods CAS(40-->45), specialist(32-->39), biology(43-->44), chemistry(38-->42).

2011: Biomedical science and peace and conflict studies

Er, yeah, about the notes... I kind of got a lot behind during semester 2 on downloading them all and checking for quality + copyright etc. so after Tuesday (my last exam) expect a whole bunch of new ones to be added. Sorry for the delay -_-
