Nah the sites probably up but they'd have the database offline just incase ;)
Are VCAA really that smart?
History shows... (Especially after this years exams)
Maybe their IT department is :)

That does not explain why segments of the dance exam were found in chem data books. :P

Imagine if someone hacked it and just changed the results to a message saying "You have not qualified for the VCE."

There would be a shitload of broken computers, smashed phones and kicked in walls come 7am Monday haha.

omfg that would be insane!!!! chaos, imagine all the students crying :P pretty harsh prank tho

It would be funny though... A field day for younger or older siblings to upload vids on youtube. The government hitting back on all the muck-up day pranks... Would be karma (blame Xavier though!)

but the interesting thing is, the day before they sent me an email, saying we will contact you on results day after we've received your results if you are considered for an interview. So does the Uni know results or what? hmm very intriguing

Unis know. How else do they offer you scholarships beforehand?
And also: I thinik 99.95ers know beforehand so that the media can interview/take photos of them.

Does anyone know where the exams were kept in their school?

My school was so dumb.  We could constantly see the exam supervisors going in and out of the room, and if that wasn't conspicuous enough, there was a big sign on a usually normal room which said 'cleaners are not to enter' and 'authorized personnel may only enter this room.'

And my stupid EngLang teacher tried to get the guy who sat the EngLang exam in the morning because he had 3 exams on one day to talk about it.  The coordinator was fuming, because they can get in serious shit is there is an integrity breech.

But all in all, I think it would have been relatively easy to break in and steal an exam, or get info from students who sat exams early.

I highly doubt every person who walks into the exam room across the state has no idea of what they are facing.  There would be a select few who would have somehow received information about the paper before they actually had to sit it.  :(

^ In the storecupboard in the VCE/Senior staffroom. I know because I'm in charge of the kitchen and that's where I kept the milo/UHT milk and when I asked to go in the coordinator checked it out with the other teachers and they trusted me, or they got the stuff for me, forgot. But that might've been year 11 exams. I'm not sure where they would've put the VCE ones. Probably in the kitchen cupboards LOL.

I accidently walked into a room where the gat papers were all laid out on tables. I wanted to know where the list of student numbers were, but I got my ass whiped by the co-ords in the room instead :(

It did say 'no student access' on the door though, so it was probably my fault.

Apparently the VCE ones are all sealed up so they can tell if one gets stolen.

Solution: Steal the whole bundle haha.  They will never notice.  :P

And of course they trust you.  Weren't you school captain?

yea lol. Still, I had a tendency to barge into that room whenever I wanted. I think it annoyed the year 10 coordinator, but i mean the year 11/12 couldnt care less. :D

So what's this early ATAR portal business anyway? Probably trolls?
