It's cause it's their first, they need to gage all their efforts by this one result. This one result tells them whether they need to work harder or they've done enough. Confirmation for them so they know what to do in year 12.

It is way worse in year 11 when you compete with your TWIN brother.. "oh fuck nice you got 39 for methods!!.. uh what I got 34" ..*sad face* (parents look down at you). The same will happen for this year :S

i know wat u mean man.. I've got quite a few cousins doing yr 12 that i am gonna get compared to, but i guess ur in a worser situation.

yeah true. pitty that ill get compared to a whole community including the ones who have done year 12 like 5 years ago. but twin brother will be worse i reckon
