You'll have Academic Advice Day (AAD) on 24 January 2011 where you go into uni for the very first time to hear people speak about your course, welcoming you, telling you about the course requirements and all the formal stuff and not to mention you'll also get the opportunity to go on a campus tour and meet other people form the same course.  Then from Tuesday 22 Feb to Friday 25 Feb is Orientation Week and the official start of Week 1 is Monday 28 Feb.

In case you haven't noticed, Semester 1 is 8 weeks before the 1 week easter break followed by the last 4 weeks!!!

Nah, this time is 1 week break instead of the 2 weeks in Semester 2 - less time for catching up  :idiot2:

I liked the two weeks...  :'(    I just had a look at La Trobe's calendar.  They're exactly the same.
